I've been an ESL teacher for over 20 years and I love helping students to achieve their dreams.  I've taught in Australia, Spain, Colombia and Mexico and have taught students from all over the world.   I've taught General English, Academic English, Business English and English Exam Preparation to individuals and groups. My personal focus is on teaching pronunciation to improve communication. 

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Linguistics from La Trobe University in Melbourne, and both CELTA and DELTA  qualifications from Cambridge University, as well as a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.  I've worked for a variety of language schools across the globe, including the British Council in Mexico, and for three of Melbourne's leading universities - Monash, RMIT and Swinburne - teaching English for Academic Purposes.  I have written, developed and piloted new courses, including a blended learning course for IELTS, and pronunciation workshops.

As well as teaching, I've recently been working in the field of authoring and editing educational resources for the ESL  industry. I've worked on digital and print projects -  authoring, content editing, copy editing and proofreading.

Outside of work, I love to read! For me, there is nothing better than getting lost in the worlds created by talented authors.
